Privacy policy

What this site collects, where it goes, and how to get it removed. This page also covers cookies — there is no separate cookie policy.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

This policy is written to match how the site actually works, in plain English. If anything here is unclear, or you want something we hold corrected or deleted, write to dan@opsrefresh.com.

OpsRefresh is a service of A.N.G.I.E. SYSTEMS LLC.

What we collect, and when

  • Fit-call requests. The /start/ page asks for your name, business name, email, phone number, a short description of what has outgrown the operation, and any optional context you choose to add. We store a request only after the security checks pass and the record is written successfully.
  • How you found us. Your browser can store the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the address for up to 90 days. When you submit a fit-call request, that context is sent with the request so we can understand how you found us.
  • Optional diagnostic context. If you explicitly choose to carry your diagnostic result into a fit-call request, we send only its broad result and finding categories. We do not send your individual answers, free-text notes, identity, or worksheet values from that browser handoff.
  • Server logs. Like nearly every website's, our servers keep standard technical logs: IP address, time, pages requested.

Browsing the site does not ask for personal details. If you write or call us directly, we have what you choose to send, like any other correspondence.

Fit-call requests

When the fit-call form on /start/ is available, Cloudflare Turnstile helps us distinguish a person from automated abuse, and the request is stored in our database on Hostinger along with the activity record that confirms it was received; the page confirms receipt only after that record exists. A copy then goes to our customer-relationship records in Baserow so we can follow up. If the form, scheduling link, or network is unavailable, the page gives you direct email and phone options instead.

The services that run this site

We don't sell your information. We also won't print the “we never share your data” line, because it would be false: a handful of services each handle a piece of it, since that's how the site runs. Each one gets only what its job needs.

  • Hostinger hosts the website, keeps the server logs described above, stores fit-call requests in its database, and runs the mailbox our email is sent from.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile receives the technical information needed to run the human check when you use the fit-call form.
  • Baserow keeps our customer-relationship records: a copy of each fit-call request and where the conversation stands. Baserow stores its cloud data in Germany.
  • cal.com runs the scheduling page if you book a fit call, and receives the name and email you give it there.
  • Google Analytics 4 may tell us how the site is used — which pages, how visitors arrive — when it is configured. Details under Cookies, below.

So, plainly: Hostinger receives the IP address needed to deliver a page and records it in ordinary server logs. That is how a request reaches a server, and it is printed here rather than left out.

Cookies and consent

Analytics runs under Google's Consent Mode. Visit measurement is on when you arrive; the advertising side — ad cookies, ad personalization — is off, and it stays off unless you accept it in the notice at the bottom of the page. Your answer, either way, is a single flag stored in your browser. We ask once. A no is an answer, not an invitation to ask again on the next page.

The cookies themselves, by name: Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on this domain — “_ga”, and one called “_ga_” followed by our measurement id. Both hold a randomly generated identifier for your browser, not a name, and both expire two years after your most recent visit unless you clear them sooner.

Whether Google uses it elsewhere: Google processes this data to give us the measurement, and under its own terms it may also use it for its own purposes. We're not going to make a promise on Google's behalf that we can't keep. What we can tell you is what our own code does — the advertising signals are denied until you say otherwise, and if you say nothing they stay denied.

There are no advertising pixels, no social-media trackers, and no chat widgets on this site.

Beyond that, the site uses your browser's local storage for the how-you-found-us record and your cookie answer. The Twelve Tests diagnostic also uses session storage to keep your choices while that browser tab remains open; reset it on the page or close the tab to clear it. Those records live in your browser, not on our servers unless you explicitly choose to carry the diagnostic's minimized result into a fit-call request.

Do Not Track

Your browser can send a “Do Not Track” signal. The honest answer, which few sites print: this site does not currently change its behavior in response to it. What we do instead is keep tracking thin in the first place — the list above is the whole of it.

What we use it for

To read and reply to a fit-call request, prepare for and schedule a fit call, and understand which pages earn their keep. That's the list.

The phone number, specifically: we use it to call you about the fit call, or to text you to arrange a time. That is the whole of it. No marketing texts, no automated messages, no list you'd have to get yourself off.

A fit-call request does not put you on a marketing list, and there is no newsletter. You get an automatic confirmation, then up to three short follow-ups about your request, on weekdays, until you book, reply or opt out. Every one has a one-click unsubscribe that stops the rest, and a person replies to anything you send back.

How long we keep it

Fit-call requests are kept while the conversation is live. If the conversation is closed as not a fit or not yet, the request and its attached operational record are deleted 18 months after the last activity. Clients are the exception: engaged work is governed by the engagement letter.

Analytics, when configured, is held for the retention window selected in Google Analytics and then only as aggregate reporting.

If you ask us not to email you, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your address rather than the address itself, so the request is honored for good.

Your rights

Write to dan@opsrefresh.com and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — whoever you are and wherever you live. Some states give these rights the force of law; we won't make you cite one to use them. Expect an answer within a few business days.

We will handle a deletion request for correspondence we control and explain any record we must retain for legal, accounting, or operational reasons.

Children

This site is about running restaurants and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child has sent us something, tell us and it's gone.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. No pop-up ceremony — check the date.
